Kandee Johnson

Kandee Johnson is one of the most popular make-up artists online. Some of you might have been to her blog or her youtube channel before, but if you haven't be sure to check out those links. I promise, you won't be sorry you did.

I have watched quite a few of Kandee's video tutorials. She has many on famous singers and actresses like Rihanna, and Megan Fox. I have seen those as well as some of her more elaborate and fun tutorials like Snow White, Jasmine, and even the Queen of Hearts from Tim Burton's upcoming Alice in Wonderland. Kandee is truly talented, and can create any look you can imagine with make-up! She is fun, descriptive and quite bubbly in her tutorials, which will never leave you bored in your computer chair.

Here is a short little video of Kandee right after Urban Decay sent her the famous Alice in Wonderland Palette (yes, these companies send her their products. Trust me when I say she is HUGE!). This video is not a tutorial, but more of a fun little review.

After watching, I admit, I wanted this Palette even more! You get 16 of the most popular eyeshadows from Urban Decay that have all been given a quirky new name from the movie, two eye liners and a travel size of the world's most incredible primer potion all for $52.00. Bad news is, they're extremely hard to find and probaly won't show up in Sephora for too much longer. However, if you're willing to spend more you can check eBay. I have seen this set go for up to $100.00! The ladies have gone crazy!

With that, please visit Kandee and check out some of her tutorials! I'm sure you'll find something you like! Let us know what you think!

I just saw that Pallette at Ulta last week! I had no idea they were quite so exclusive. Hopefully they'll still have some when I go back! Apparently Urban Decay bakes their eyeshadows, which gives them a slightly different texture and makes them go on skin exactly as you see them in the pallette. I've had a lot of eyeshadows that go on much lighter or with a more pastel look than what's shown in the pallette, it can be a little frustrating. It seems like this is a really great set for the money.

And I've never seen Kanee's tutorials, but I love watching YouTube artists. She's so cute and bubbly! Definitely subscribing to her YouTube channel.

Gaaaah. I want the Alice palette so badly. But I already have four of the colors on the palette in other Urban Decay sets that I own, so I can't really justify shelling out the $52.

Casee, I didn't know they had them at Ulta!! I thought they were only at Sephora. I so want one!

Karen, how do you like the current eyeshadows you already own?

Some of them I like a lot, others I like less. Let's see.

Queen = Last Call, a shade I have in the Wallpaper palette. It actually is not that great of a shade on me, so I rarely use it.

Oraculum = Baked, a shade that I'm actually wearing right now. I love it lots. It's a really metallic coppery shade.

Chessur = Chopper, a shade that I use fairly often. It's a less metallic type of copper.

Midnight Tea Party = Midnight Cowboy Rides Again. I actually only have Midnight Cowboy, but the shades are the same except Rides Again has more glitter. (Although in my opinion the regular Midnight Cowboy has plenty.)

Mad Hatter = Twice Baked, another shade that I'm actually wearing right now. It's a lovely deep brown that is great for creating shadows and contour.
