Concealers & 100th post!

Yay! This our 100th post! Please don't forget to enter our Giveaway! I'm going to extend the entry date to give those of you who haven't entered yet a chance to win! Please tell your friends about it!

Concealing underneath the eye is often a huge problem for women. For years I have been using the Revlon Colorstay Under Eye Concealer (in "Light"). It works really well, and when you compare the way my eyes look with and without it you can really see the difference. I apply it by gently stroking it on all underneath my eye. I let it sit for no longer than a minute and then gently dab it all over to blend it in. Sometimes I have to add a little more on the darkest spots to get a better coverage.

You can purchase this product at places like Target or Wal-mart or on the Revlon Online Store.

Recently I was given the Tarte Eraser 4-in-1 Natural Concealer (in "Fair") from my best friend who actually works at Sephora. This little guy works great on blemishes, red spots and of course underneath the eyes! I've actually been using this along with my Revlon Concealer under my eyes and I'm getting much better coverage with both of them. *Insert grin here*

This product is obviously more pricey than the Revlon Concealer but I'm sure it'll last for a long time. Remember, a little goes a long way! You can purchase this product at Sephora, Ulta or on the Sephora Online Store.

Kandee Johnson is a genius when it comes to make-up and I wanted to share this incredible video with you. She basically shows you the perfect way to get rid of those nasty colors under your eyes and which pigments to use based on the color underneath your eye. I have yet to try this technique yet but I plan to soon. I'd really like to get the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Palette she mentions in the video or even something similiar to that product. It comes with the highlight and the darker blending color you'd place on top of that.

Do you use any of these produts? If not, which do you currently use?

Congrats with the 100th post :)
I use MAC's Select Moisturecover. It's very handy with the doe-foot applicator. I just dab a bit under my eyes (a tiny, tiny bit) and then blend with my ring finger for a soft effect.

Yay, congrats to SHE! 100 posts, that's such a milestone!

I used to use a MAC concealer as well - I can't remember which, though. It came in a little tube and I applied it with a thin brush, then blended with a fluffier one. I more recently got one from e.l.f. that's specifically for under the eye and it works quite well. I'm all about maximum coverage from my foundation so most of the time I don't bother with the concealers.

I'm loving the idea behind that Tarte Eraser concealer! I might have to look into that one. And Kandee is such a little star, I love that girl. Definitely going to check out that video right away.

Great post, darling!
