Friday Fame: Costa Rica Fashion Week

We were recently contacted by Designer Nixia Varela LaMar's husband about featuring a few of her pieces that were a part of Costa Rica Fashion Week. Below you'll find some of the looks that were seen on the runway. My favorite thing about each of these pieces is the shimmery metallic fabric. It adds that very special touch that makes each look more beautiful.

What do you think? My favorite pieces actually happened to be featured on Nixia's blog. There are many lovely prints and styles and even a black and white collection that screams classy. Follow these links: Panama Collection and Panama Collection - Black and White. Share with us which pieces you like best!

I really like the first dress. I think it'd be perfect for attending a wedding. Or maybe even a party? The shimmery fabric is perfect for the winter season coming up and I love the detail on the one shoulder strap.
Oooh those are sooo pretty!!!

Oh, these are pretty! I love the shade of yellow on those pants. All the different textures on the dresses are so captivating as well.

Thanks for your comment.
The vintage store isn't that cheap, but compared to the brands and quality they offer, it's a good price. For example a Chanel dress from the seventies was 485€, as well as a blazer from Rochas...
If you're ever in Brussels, you should check it out though, because they have unexpected items that aren't that expensive!
They are all so very beautiful. They did a well job with the outfits. I really like the gold and black combination's. My favorite would be the second one! Love the detailing and all the sparkles! :)
