Fall Fashion Trends: Color blocking

On Monday I shared an outfit (as seen above) where I color blocked with two very rich colors using a couple fall pieces. The results were fresh and very eye-catching! Even though the colder weather hasn't officially kicked in yet (for some of us anyways) we can all begin stocking up on some key accessories to incorporate color into our wardrobe this season. Usually the colors we associate with fall are dark or neutral and that's not always exciting and can get tiresome. So, here's a few pieces I've found throughout the week to help inspire your next shopping trip!

Purple Button Blazer Dorothy Perkins £25.00

Scalloped Pointelle Loop Anthropologie $38.00

Stenness Teardrop Earrings
Ruche $8.99

Fluro Skinny Belt ASOS £6.00

Puckered Cuff Anthroplogie $78.00

How will you be using color in your daily outfits this fall? If you've never color blocked before, start by taking two of your favorite colors and pairing them together. Mix and match until you come up with something that you love!

If you're interested, you can find my last Fall Fashion Trends post on Print Mixing here.

Oooooo that blazer has so many possibilities! I really like the bold colors we're seeing and am looking for a super colorful jacket or bag for fall to clash with everything, lol.

I've been seeing a lot of color-blocking with bright colors for this season, which always seems strange to me because when I think of fall I think of darker shades, you know? But it's so fun to switch it up and be unexpected. I love that Dorothy Perkins blazer!
