Those Pink and Purple Days

(Little me with my visor (oh my) and my name written in pink and purple)

I remember loving pink and purple when I was little and I never thought I'd combine the two colors again until this morning. I painted my nails a lovely hot pink with "Pink Seriously" by Nicole by OPI and decided to remove the pink from both my ring fingers and add a dark purple called "I'm a Pool for Love" also by Nicole by OPI. I topped off the polish with Sally Hansen's Strengthing Top Coat.

This is the first time in years since I've worn multiple colors on my nails. I remember my best friend and I painting our nails each a different color with all kinds of designs and glitter on top. It was a little bit of a disatrous mess! Anyhow, I've seen many rock this look including my dearest Casee from The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower and of course the nail queen, Melanie from Those Things They Said. Thanks for the inspiration, ladies!

Oh my gosh, Jeeeennnnnn! You were the cutest little girl! And you're still beautiful! I love these two colors together! I should try something similar when I get back to RI. Have you tried half moon manicures? These would be great colors to try with! And haha, the nail queen? No way! Check out nail blogs, i stead! These people know their stuff!

OMG, look at baby Jen! You were so cute! (And still are, of course.) I love how you did your nails, I'm loving the whole concept of an accent nail right now. I agree with Mel, too, these colors would look gorgeous together as a half-moon mani. (:
