How to Wear: Printed Skinny Jeans
Tuesday, July 10, 2012

1) Animal Print Skinny Jeans - AE, 2) Lace Top - AE, 3) Featherlight Tank - AE, 4) Spike & Pearl Necklace - Top Shop, 5) Patent Platform Wedge - Forever 21,
6) - Candie's Thong Sandals - Kohl's
Some people love the printed jean trend but still remain curious about how to style them. At my store, American Eagle Outfitters, we've received some fun patterns recently including the unique version of the animal style print (shown above) and this fun polka dot option. After I shared a couple of styling tips on these jeans last night via Twitter I decided I'd share them with you as well.
A neutral colored top is the easiest to pair with any printed jean. Black and white would be my first suggestion, then a nude or blush color. A black loose fitted top, perhaps messily tucked in on one side, with these jeans and a nude colored wedge or pump with some fun jewelry would be a great dressier look. I also love the idea of a plain asymmetrical top with printed jeans. Or if you want to go more for the every day kind of outfit you can wear a tank and some cute sandals and you're good to go. This bright tank brings out the touches of purple throughout this particular print and is a great shade for Summer!
Did these styling tips inspire you? How do you style your printed jeans if you have any?
