A New Ring For The Mr.

What He Wore

V-neck: American Eagle
Claiborne Shirt: Thrifted
Low Rise Boot Jean: American Eagle
DVS Shoes: Active
Tungsten Ring: Modern Design, Inc.

A year ago my husband damaged his tungsten wedding ring with chemicals while cleaning his drum set. While tungsten rings are the most durable (they don't scratch, fade and are so strong they can't be resized), the chemicals completely wiped away the finish. After we found another ring, he had been asking me every day when it would arrive, similar to a kid at Christmas time, and he couldn't be happier now that he finally has it! He chose the Polished Plate Tungsten Carbide Ring and while it is very similar to his original ring, the new one has an 8mm thickness. Jason says, "It's super shiny and fits perfectly. The thickness of the ring makes it more prominent, so hopefully the ladies will leave me alone." Funny, but true I must say. We're so happy that now both of us have shiny rings!

  1. Oh wow I did't know that could happen, glad you found a suitable replacement.

  2. Oh I love it. My hubs has a titanium ring right now because of the resistance as well. He tends to lose rings, but I really like the one you got your hubs. It's simple and durable yet cute.

  3. Oh I love that look of that ring. That is a great choice Jen!

  4. Aw, love this! Such a shame that the first ring got damaged, but it's definitely a beautiful replacement. Very sharp. And Jason totally looks like he could be an AEO model!
